The E1-32XSR/E1-16XSR processors feature dual execution units (RISC/DSP) in a pipelined architecture sharing the same registers. RISC and DSP specific programming can be mixed transparently to the programmer. RISC/DSP Instructions are executed with a high degree of parallelism. These processors lend themselves to applications requiring signal-processing code operating in parallel with general system support code.
