The IDT Interprise family of integrated communications processors target communications market segments, including small office/home office (SOHO), and small medium enterprise (SME) communications and access markets. Additional target applications include broadband gateways, Ethernet switches, Wireless Access Points (WAPs), and virtual private networks (VPNs), as well as applications for the digital home network, such as multimedia appliances and IP-based network devices. The IDT Interprise family matches high-performance MIPS with key communications, networking, and system peripheral blocks to provide integrated solutions through inclusion of a standard PCI interface to enable modular architectures.
