AMD's high- performance AM3 Embedded platform features an AMD Phenom II XLT, AMD Athlon II XLT, or AMD Athlon II XL processor coupled with the AMD 785E chipset. It offers flexible CPU options with a choice of performance and power in 25W, 45W and 65W power envelopes and up to 2.8GHz operation. The Socket AM3 package is compatible with Socket AM2 when using DDR2 memory, offering flexibility and scalability for existing designs, or can implement faster memory with support for two channels of DDR3 memory.
The platform also offers ECC for high-reliability applications such as small office or home office and SMB storage systems.
