Actel CoreMP7 Block Diagram

The CoreMP7 is a soft IP (intellectual property) version of the ARM7TDMI-S that Actel has optimized to maximize speed and minimize size in Actel's flash-based M7 ProASIC3 devices. CoreMP7 executes the ARMv4T instruction set architecture and implements all of the 32-bit ARM7 and 16-bit Thumb instructions. The processor has a 3-stage pipeline, 32-bit ALU, 32-bit register file, a 32-bit external address and data bus interface and JTAG debug interface. CoreMP7 is appropriate for applications such as digital cameras, kitchen appliances, automotive traction control systems, car infotainment systems, robotics and medical equipment. The CoreMP7 leverages the tools ecosystem for the ARM7 microprocessor. Actel also supports CoreMP7 with the CoreConsole and SoftConsole tools, Actel's Libero Integrated Design Environment, and several development kits.
