Synopsys' DesignWare ARC 601 configurable processor core offers a combination of small size, low power and performance to target deeply embedded and microcontroller applications. The core at 0.039 sq mm fits 2 ½ times in the dot (12 pt font) at the end of a sentence, and runs at 532 MHz (638 DMIPS) consuming 13 µW / MHz in 65nm GP process technology.
